History of Pat's Pawn & Gun Shop

Pat's Pawn & Gun Shop was founded in 1977 by Pat Denson in Leesburg Florida, In 1985 Darrin Steele began to work for Pat in the pawn shop and became a partner in business. Darrin had learned from his dad Jerry Steele, who owned Jerry's Pawn & Gun in Ocala Florida, how to buy, sell and trade from the bottom up. At that time Pat then gave Darrin the chance to use the tools that he had learned from his dad to be in business on his own. That was not only intimidating but also a big step for an 18 year old.
